the deal

India as a rising world power and due to its growing industrialisation and urbanisation is going to have great demand for energy in future.. for that we cannot depend on fossil fuels and coal which is fast depleting which may lead to an energy crisis in the future.. we have to turn towards alternative forms of energies such as wind energy solar energy and nuclear energy too..!!.. this nuclear deal with US if turns in to reality would be of great use to india which can be used for all civilian purposes. This deal seems to be a practical solution for our growing energy needs. At the same time india should be very careful while negotiating agreement with US. we should not compromise on our independent foreign policy or our strategic program... US cannot dictate terms to us for india's relations with foreign countries. Recenty US secretaty of state ms.condoleeza rice and under secretary mr.nicholas burns have made some remarks about india's relations with iran and asked india not to give any sanctions for iran in the future and also to opt itself out of the iran-pakistan-india gas pipeline project. These remarks are strongly condemnable.. india should remain strong in its stand to get reprocessing rights of the spent fuel.. there must be clear agreement regarding that and also regarding the spate of this agreement if india conducts a nuclear test in future. If pakistan or china conducts a nuclear test in the future,then there would be a compelling situation for india to conduct a nuclear test as a feedback.If the agreement terminates before 40 years US has to compensate india for that and conducting a nuclear test is india's sovereign right in which others cant interfere.
